Incubation Cell

Innovation and Incubation Cell (IIC)
The ‘Innovation and Incubation Cell’ of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan (Girls College) was established as per UGC directives for fostering the culture of innovation and technical skill among students. It aims to systematically promote entrepreneurship among students, by focusing on opportunities for students to earn while they learn, to further the cause of self-reliance of young women which is in keeping with the overall mission and vision of the College.

Its objectives are:
  • To give adequate opportunity to prospective students to bring out innovative ideas through competitions and brainstorming.
  • To develop and provide a platform for the creative aspirants, where their innovative ideas and concepts can be realized.
  • To aid in refining the ideas or concepts with periodic guidance from technical as well as creative experts of the concerned fields.
  • To enable and nurture an idea and give it shape of a sustainable venture.
  • To provide mentoring in all areas from innovation to technical assistance, business planning, marketing linkages and networks among others.
  • To create awareness among students and other sections of society regarding various aspects of entrepreneurship like new business prospects, government schemes for entrepreneurs, essentials for framing business plan and developing start-up etc.
The IIC of Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan (Girls College) was established on 27.09.2018 by single agenda meeting of the Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC).
