Our college has tied up with a number of institutions for providing employment options for
the students. The scope and activities of some of them are listed below:
TCS Youth Employability Program (YEP)
The Youth Employability Program (YEP) is conducted by TCS and aims at addressing the
challenge of unemployment within India over the past 10 years. The program aims at
providing Free Employability Training, right opportunities and learning skills, even those
from socially and economically backward families, so that they will be able to showcase their
potential, join the mainstream economy, and shall have a dignified and better life. The
program also supports the youth for guiding them for internal (in TCS) and external
opportunities for their jobs.
Ujjivan Bank Employment Programme
Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited is an Indian small finance bank based in Bangalore,
which commenced operations on 1 February 2017, Ujjivan Financial Services holds an 80
percent stake in the bank. Ujjivan Small Finance Bank is licensed under Section 22 (1) of
the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 to carry out small finance bank business and
received Scheduled Bank status from the Reserve Bank of India in August 2017. This highly
esteemed bank provides employment opportunities to the youth of the nation, especially they
have a noble aim to uplift the economically and socially backward youth of the society and
helping them to be established in their lives.
Community Service Center (CSC)
Development Connects is a management consulting firm based at Ranchi. They take interest
in natural resource management, economic development and local self-governance. They
have helped interested candidates to apply for Community Service Centers and offer them
other ‘work from home’ opportunities. Given the expanding market for such services,
candidates can
access long-term professional engagement opportunities. Any graduate candidate with a
working computer, internet connection, and 150 sq ft area in her premises can apply to run a
CSC from her residence. She can provide upto 30 necessary services to her neighbourhood.
Development Connects have planned to support the opening of 40 such local ‘Community
Service Centers’ in the month of January, 2022. Development Connects shall take
responsibility to train, promote and create business opportunities for them. Once they start
earning, Development Connects shall charge a mutually agreed upon percentage of their
earning as its facilitation cost. Development Connects thus supports candidates to create their
own business.
Lok Prerana
Lok Prerana is a non-Government Organization based at Deoghar, Jharkhand. They have
openings for management interns at Jamtara to train 3000 women in health and hygiene
related issues. The internship period is of two months. A stipend of Rs. 10000 per month
shall be paid. On successful completion of internship, candidates shall receive job offer as
project executive with payment starting from Rs. 12,000 per month. Subject to performance, job offer will remain valid till project period. The organization shall arrange for free stay and
reimburse travel expenses as per actuals.
